I’m Euan Simpson, I am a professional goaltender who plays for Glasgow Clan of the EIHL. I'm currently in my 2nd year pro and I have over 17 years of experience playing through all junior levels in the UK. I also possess a level 4 vocational qualification(HNC) in sports coaching. My ambition is to give goalies the strategies and resources to achieve consistent improved performance.

Okay so, who am I?I’m Euan Simpson, I am a professional goaltender who plays for Glasgow Clan of the EIHL. I have over 15 years of experience playing through all junior levels in the UK.My ambition is to help improve the level of ability and help young goalies achieve better success on the ice.Okay, here’s a bit more- I started roller hockey at age 7 and later ice hockey at age 11. I played juniors for Kirkcaldy Junior Development, going on to play for the Kirkcaldy Kestrels from age 16. After COVID I signed for Murrayfield Racers before joining Solway Sharks in the NIHL 1 North for the remainder of the 21/22 season. We went on to become NIHL 1 North league, playoff and national playoff champions. Coming into the 2022/23 season I signed my first pro contract with Glasgow Clan and have continued to learn and improve a huge amount in my time here. With the help of top goalies and players I have been able to elevate my game and push myself everyday to best goalie I can be.- I represented Scotland from u11s right through to u19s, playing in various countries such as Latvia, Czech Republic and France. We also played in annual conference tournaments against the conferences in England and Wales. Winning the Frank Dempster Memorial trophy with the u19s in 2018 was a massive highlight in my international career. I was also named as a reserve netminder for the GB under 20s in 2019.- I was selected as one of 2 players from the UK to attend a IIHF development camp in Finland in 2015, where 2 players from all of the elite hockey nations from around the world would attend and play as part of teams in an all around development tournament.- Aside from hockey I have a HNC(higher national certificate) in Coaching and development of sport.I am looking to help out younger or less experienced goalies improve their all around game by passing on what I have learned in my career.
